Sea Organ
Zadar has a unique blend of architecture and music, the world-famous Sea Organ. They are located next to the installation Greeting to the Sun, and are made up of an organ whose sound is formed under the influence of the energy of the sea, that is, waves and tides.
Renowned architect Nikola Bašić has created an ingenious system of resonant chambers that produce syncopated, always new melodies, which simultaneously calm and excite countless amazed and amazed visitors and attract them to relax and stay on the Waterfront for hours, only to hear at least one more dreamlike tone before they leave.

Greetings to the Sun
Another installation by this brilliant architect that symbolizes human communication with nature. This exciting monument consists of 300 multi-layered glass solar panels, which absorb the sun's energy during the day, and after sunset create a spectacular light show by the sea. These installations are a holiday for all your senses.
Greeting to the Sun consists of three hundred solar panels installed in the same level as the stone paving of the waterfront in the form of a circle with a diameter of 22 meters. In addition to the sun, looking from the west side, and above the Sea Organ there are other planets of the solar system. The sizes of the plates of the sun and planets are proportional, as are the distances of the center of each plate in their own right, but both are not at the same time, because the planets would have to be from a few hundred meters to a few tens of kilometers from the sun on installation. Under the glass panels there are photovoltaic solar modules through which symbolic communication with nature is realized, with the aim of making communication , as with the Sea Organ, realized communication – there by sound, and here by light.
